No. Some detractors will try to say that a lab grown diamond ‘fades’ over time. Your laboratory grown diamond will not change its appearance and will not fade, discolour or cloud over time, as it has the same physical and chemical properties as an earth mined diamond. It will look the same in a million years as it does the day you received it. The only way that a lab diamond could be damaged is the same way that a mined diamond could be damaged, by being chipped by accident or heat damaged by a careless jeweller repairing the ring.
